God is always speaking, & He is always good. So how do we hear his voice? How do I know I'm even hearing his voice and not just the thoughts I allow into my head? 
 
This is the first official episode. It is about "hearing" God's voice and what that even means. I go over some struggles I have had with this topic in my faith journey, and also shared some of the things God has been sharing with me in the past few weeks.

I used to have a podcast that consumed most of my life, which at the time I saw nothing wrong with. It was when I met God that I was extremely convicted of the content of the podcast. During this time of not knowing whether or not to continue, I was reading the Bible from the beginning, Genesis. I got to the part where Abraham was asked to sacrifice his only Son, Isaac. At first I was like whoaaaaa, I know this book is real as I just had felt the real presence of God, but what am I supposed to sacrifice ??? It was then that I realized what I had to give up, the main thing in between me and my relationship with God. My podcast. Even though it was most of my life, what I had experienced with God, made the release of the podcast come with peace, and like Abraham & Isaac, God might be asking this now, but will eventually have me continue, except this time, for HIM. It's been a year & 9 months since I got saved and gave up the podcast. It has been hindered by waiting for the right time, over thinking, getting a specific zapp from heaven telling me to start it, or a perfect feeling. So now, I am making the decision, to make this podcast, to honor God, pray, hope, and trust in Him to take care of everything else. He will close doors, and open doors. He loves me, and cares for me.
